Village and City Unit

This term we are studying the differences between villages and cities and we are going to do a play about it.
We are studying vocabulary about transports, buildings,  actions... In the city there are cars, smoke, noises and other annoying things there aren't in the village, but there are hospitals, malls, libraries..., too.
In our theatre story we show a city with a lot of cars, noises and accidents. Then, a couple decide to go to the village. There are animals, trees, plants... They have an accident with a cow and they discover that in the village there are no hospitals, big shopping centers, motorways... either.

This term we are studying the Animals and we are going to prepare the play "The musicians of Bremen".
We learn animals names and learn to classify them by their nutrition, how they move, how they reproduce and by their skeleton.
The Musicians of Bremen is a story about some animals who are trying to live by themselves.
In the story a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster, all old and usefulness on their farms, leave their homes and set out together. They decide to go to Bremen, known for its freedom, and become musicians there. On the way to Bremen, they see a lighted cottage; they look inside and see four robbers enjoying their ill-gotten gains. Standing on each other's backs, they decide to perform for the men in hope of gaining food. Their 'music' has an unanticipated effect; the men run for their lives, not knowing what the strange sound is. The animals take possession of the house, eat a good meal, and settle in.
